Hello - I’m Toni Klopfenstein.

The easiest definition of me is: “Jack of all trades, master of none, but oftentimes better than master of one.”

Over the years I’ve worn a lot of hats professionally: developer relations, engineering, QA, product development, management, and technical support. I understand the full product and development lifecycle, from the person filing the bug to the person fixing it to the person deciding what gets built next. I love solving problems and removing friction points to make the learning and use of a product easier for customers.

Outside of work, I’ve been involved with several volunteer projects and continue to be a life-long learner. I served on the board of the the Open Source Hardware Association and chaired sponsorship for the Open Hardware Summit; I run ElectriCity - a Burning Man camp; I’m working on becoming fluent in ASL; I’ve taught myself how to design clothing patterns and have made some impressive textiles; I paint and draw; I dabble in many musical instruments.

This site is where I write, share projects, and generally exist on the internet outside of LinkedIn and GitHub.
